  3. Must submit a 30-second video/public service announcement (PSA) that covers the 2020-2021 topic
  4. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate college program in the 2020-2021 school year

These are the words of Sharon Heit, mother of a son who was killed in a car crash while texting and driving. Sharon shared her son’s last text message with the media, which was never sent. Alexander Heit was 22 when he lost his life after the deadly crash.

Create a compelling, short 30-second, video/public service announcement (PSA), warning other drivers of the dangers inherent to texting and driving.

Winning Criteria

The scholarship winner will be based on the following factors:

  • Ability to create a compelling video (PSA) that warns others of the dangers of texting and driving
