Most doctors that are on an employer’s approved list are on the list because they have workers’ compensation experience. However, not all experience is the same. When you see the doctor, ask questions about their experience, and see if you feel comfortable.

One of the most important things to look for in a workers’ compensation doctor is someone who will listen to you and answer your questions. If you’ve been injured in a work accident, you probably have questions about your treatment. A doctor should listen to your concerns and address them during your appointment. You should never feel rushed through an appointment.
