As things continue to evolve regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, including Governor Sisolak’s recent closure of non-essential government functions, we are constantly assessing the situation and its impact on our courts. As of today, the following changes/restrictions are in place:

  • Workers’ Compensation (Administrative Court)
    • All scheduled hearings before the Hearing and Appeals Officers have been vacated (cancelled) and continued until further notice
    • Limited filings are being accepted at this time (requests for new hearings, motions for stay, and various orders that the court has already issued, etc.)
  • Personal Injury (District Court)
    • All jury trials scheduled for the next 30 days have been suspended and will be rescheduled
    • All non-essential hearings (most civil issues) are limited to video or telephonic means; must be decided on the papers; or rescheduled unless otherwise directed by the judge

While these changes and modifications will impact our ability to access the courts on your behalf, rest assured that our attorneys and staff are working diligently to process your claims and work with the insurance adjusters to make sure you get the medical and financial benefits you need. We will keep you posted on the progress of your individual case(s) as information becomes available. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we work through the logistical challenges of the current situation. If you have a pressing need or a specific issues that requires immediate attention, please feel free to reach out to us.

Under the guidance of Governor Sisolak, recent measures were taken to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic and keep our community safe. All non-essentialbusinesses have been asked to close to the public for the next 30 days. GGRM is committed to doing everything we can to assist in this effort; however, as anessential business whose clients depend on us to provide the medical and financial benefits they need, we will continue to operate under a modified – largely virtual – business plan. (See below.)

As efforts concerning the containment of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continue to evolve here in the U.S. and around the world, we want to assure you that GGRM remains committed to three important priorities:

  1. Ensuring the safety of our employees
  2. Providing uninterrupted, high-quality legal representation and customer service to our clients
  3. Supporting local efforts to limit the spread and impact of COVID-19

As such, we continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation and decided to follow the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC and other state and local officials. In accordance with these recommendations and until further notice, GGRM will be making some minor modifications to the delivery of our services. To be sure, all our services will continue to be available to you – just a little differently.

  • Our offices remain open for business; however, we encourage all existing clients to help us limit exposure and the potential spread of COVID-19 by avoiding in-office meetings if at all possible.
  • We remain open for business virtually during normally scheduled work hours (8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday). All email, fax, telephone, and other electronic communication will continue without interruption.
  • Most non-attorney staff will be working remotely and will be unavailable for office visits. In-person meetings with attorneys will be scheduled as needed, on a case-by-case basis.

Fortunately, GGRM is uniquely built upon quality technology which allows us to move to a virtual law office environment with minimal interruption to our ability to provide services. Our local courts continue to update and modify their policies in response to the current COVID-19 situation as well, and we are monitoring those procedures to ensure a minimal impact on your claim(s).

We also know that many of you have been personally impacted in a number of ways, and we apologize for any inconvenience these modifications may cause you. We will resume normal operations as soon as reasonably possible. We appreciate your flexibility as we do our part to help bring this unprecedented situation under control.

Again, we are fully operational and are actively working on your claims. If there is anything you need, please feel free to contact our office so that we can direct your call and follow up accordingly.
