Las Vegas has been our law practice’s home for 45+ years. This community is incredibly important to us and that’s why we’re grateful to be able to give back and get involved. Here are some of the things we’ve been able to participate in.
Attorney Rochelle A. Harding-Roed Honored by Southern Nevada Legal Aid
GGRM Attorney Rochelle A. Harding-Roed has been recognized as Southern Nevada Legal Aid’s volunteer of the month for the time and effort she has contributed to pro bono work. Rochelle began as an educational advocate in 2013 and started pro bono work in 2016. She has done family law cases representing domestic violence victims and juvenile dependency cases representing foster children.
GGRM Donates $1,000 to Family Promise of Las Vegas
GGRM proudly donated $1,000 to Family Promise of Las Vegas, an organization dedicated to offering homeless families the opportunity to achieve housing stability by providing short term shelter, meals, case management, and hospitality. It is the only assistance center in Las Vegas that does not separate families that are in need of shelter and offers its guests facilities to shower, cook, eat, play, relax, and do laundry in. Families are then connected with local support congregations for overnight shelter and receive a full suite of resources, including a case manager to help them find employment and local housing, and training as they work toward independence and self-sufficiency.
Family Promise is a mirror image of GGRM’s core values, and we are very honored to be able to help them continue to serve our community.
GGRM Makes Donation to The Blind Center of Nevada
GGRM has recently donated their old office electronics to The Blind Center of Nevada. The center recycles or repurposes old computers and other electronics in an environmentally friendly way and receives 100% of the proceeds. As GGRM continues to update their office, they are always looking for ways to give back to the community; with The Blind Center of Nevada they were able to do just that.
GGRM Supports National Police Week
National Police Week is celebrated annually the week of May 15th. It pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others. GGRM showed their strong support by: wearing the color blue, raising over $580 from selling keepsake items, presenting a $1,000 check to representatives of the Injured Police Officers Fund and delivering 24 dozen donuts (courtesy of Carl’s Donuts) personally to substations throughout Las Vegas. GGRM is proud to support local law enforcement officers and continually helps officers who have been injured on the job get the recovery and restoration they deserve.
